Former police officer, Harry Herington, made a promise to his partners just as thousands of officers do today – "If something happens to me, take care of my family."
Today as the CEO of NIC Inc., he continues that promise with Ride4Cops – an initiative to support the families of fallen officers.

Keeping the Promise
Each day, you lay your life on the line for your community. No one understands this better than another officer, and no one knows you like your partner. You work together. You rely on each other, but do you know what your partner would want as their last wishes if they fell in the line of duty? Do they know what you would want? It could be something as simple as to tell their spouse their last thought was "I love you", or ensure their parents receive their badge.
This is your chance to make a promise to each other, a promise you hope you never have to fulfill.
